Overview

Direct Payment removes the two-step checkout process from PteroCA. Instead of forcing users to top up their balance first and then purchase a server, they can pay directly through any configured payment gateway in a single step. Less friction means higher conversion rates for your hosting business.

• Built-in cron task runs every 30 minutes
• Expires stale pending payments after a configurable timeout (default: 60 minutes)
• Cleans up old expired and cancelled records after 24 hours

How It Works

1. User selects a product in the Store and configures their server
2. Instead of "Order Now", they click "Pay Directly"
3. A checkout page shows the order summary and available payment gateways
4. User selects a gateway (e.g., Stripe) and clicks "Pay"
5. User completes payment on the external processor (e.g., Stripe Checkout)
6. After payment, the server is created automatically - no balance involved

The same flow works for server renewals.

Configuration

The plugin has 4 configurable settings accessible from Admin Panel:

• Enable Direct Payment - Master switch to enable/disable the plugin
• Hide Balance System - Remove Wallet menu and balance widgets from the UI
• Hide Standard Order Button - Hide the balance-based "Order Now" button
• Pending Payment Expiry - How long payment sessions remain valid (default: 60 minutes)

Dark & Light Mode

The plugin fully supports both dark and light panel themes. The "Pay Directly" button and all checkout pages adapt to the user's selected theme.

Requirements

• PteroCA v0.6.5 or higher
• At least one payment gateway configured (e.g., Stripe)

Installation

1. Upload the plugin ZIP via Admin Panel -> Plugins -> Upload Plugin
2. Go to Plugins -> Direct Payment -> Settings and enter your license key
3. Enable the plugin - the "Pay Directly" button will appear on cart pages instantly
